Hey guys!! As promised I am back today with a wonderful tutorial for you all. It's how to make this adorable  ABC Primer Post-it-Note Holder. It makes a wonderful gift for a teacher or anyone new in school. I find I use mine every day since starting college. So... I thought it would be so fun to share it with you all.

 Step 1. Cut a piece of black cardstock at 7 ½” x 3 ¼”. Score on the long side at 3 ½” and 4”.

Step 2. Cut out 2 pieces of patterned paper at 3” x 3 ¼”. Next cut out another 2 pieces of patterned paper at 2 ½” x 2 ¾”.  Lastly cut out another two pieces of patterned paper at 3” x 3 ¼”. Ink all edges.

Step 3. Using the ABC Primer 8x8 paper pad cut out the following patterns.

Step 4.  Assemble the front and back of the Post-it-Note holder as shown above. Adhere.

Step 5. Assemble the inside of the Post-it-Note holder as shown above. Adhere.

Step 6. Gather the following materials as shown above. Ink all edges. Thread twine through buttons and tie a knot.

Step 7. Assemble the materials as shown above and adhere using a strong adhesive like Glossy Accents.

Step 8. Gather the following materials from the ABC Primer 8x8 paper pad. Ink all edges. Assemble as shown using a Tim Holtz wire pin to adhere.

Step 9. Adhere the square using pop dots to the inside top flap of the holder.

Step 10. Take off the backing of your Post-it-Notes to reveal a sticky edge.

Easy Peasy Halloween

Oh happy day!! Looks like fall is right around the corner here in the Midwest. What a perfect time to share with you all this delightful easy Halloween card. Many times I hear from my readers that although they love my work it can seem a bit challenging to new crafters. So... with Graphic 45's help I am showcasing a rather simple approach to a card.

Today on the Graphic 45 blog they are showcasing my work as well as my very good friend Jim The Gentleman Crafters work. Jim is an amazing artist. Who is always thinking of something different and unique to create. His projects are just mind blowing. So go check everything out over at Graphic 45.

Now onto my sweet simple card. The purple background paper is popped up from the striped paper so that the cut out girls can hang out of the windows. To make three even squares in the center of your paper I suggest using a punch to do this. Start with the middle square and then work with each side. I will be placing a sentiment on this card at the bottom as soon as I know who it's going to :)

Be sure to come back on Thursday. I have an amazing tutorial to share with you. You wont want to miss this adorable project. Thanks for stopping by today! I wish you lots of happy crafting time ~:0)

Guest Spot with Make It Crafty

Hello everybody! I have been asked to be a guest designer on the Make It Crafty Blog today. I am so super excited to share with you all what I created using their awesome chipboard. But before we get started let me just take a minute and thank Tracy and Zoe for selecting me to work with their wonderful products. It's been such a pleasure working with you guys!

O.K. so onto the project! I decided to work with the Make It Crafty Baby Room Chipboard, and N2 Fancy Frame Chipboard sets. Both sets of chipboard are amazing to work with. If you have yet to try them out I highly recommend them.

Here is the sweet baby boy card I created. I decided to leave the chipboard in it's original condition. I inked just a light layer of SU Crumb Cake ink on top so it matched the cardstock exactly. These pieces were so fun to create with. The chipboard has very detailed cuts in it which makes each piece just beautiful. And it was so easy to separate the chipboard too. They came out super easy without any tearing. Gotta love that!!

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my project. Wishes for a great day!!

Graphic 45 Kraft Reflections

Hey everybody! I've missed crafting sooo much it's not even funny. I haven't had a spare second lately with all of my homework. Tests, quiz's, more tests... you get the picture.

I was able however to make this birthday card for non other than the creator/founder of Graphic 45 Miss Diane Schultz herself. Diane loves clocks so I made sure to place one front and center. The rest just followed suit.

I hope Diane is having an absolutely fabulous birthday weekend! Happy Birthday Diane!!

Graphic 45 ~ 10 minute card

Hey Guys! Happy September! Wow can't believe we are at the end of summer. I always am sad to see the warmth and sunshine go. The days become shorter... BUT!! I absolutely love fall and all things Halloween. So that's something to definitely look forward too. Plus I am getting sick of my wardrobe and ready for my boots and jeans :)

The card I have to share with you today is made with using Graphic 45's A Ladies Diary Collection. This card is so simple to make that it only took me 10 minutes. I will share the sketch with you so you can give it a go yourself.

Things at school are going well. I have taken four quiz's and gotten A's on all. So far so good. I just wish I could fit more crafting time in. I miss it! I am working on some delightful projects for October to share with all of you so stay tuned. Until then I wish you all a wonderful day!
